We are always so excited when a baby planner gets some good press. If nothing else, we know that this is a great way to spread the word about our industry and help expecting families explore this avenue if they need any assistance.
Many of you have sent us links to the following article featured on MSNBC and we can’t thank you enough! We are so proud of our friends mentioned in this piece, and we cheer them on for doing such awesome work…we love hearing about families who have been helped from our services!

We were recently asked to add our two cents (pun intended) about ways to save money while planning a baby shower. See what we had to say and check out the article online at Pregnancy and Baby.

Last weekend, we made our way over to the Seaport World Trade Center to check out the American Baby and Family Expo. Row after row was filled with a wide variety of vendors including giant baby department stores like Babies R Us, tiny boutiques such as Baby Go Round in NH, and even home improvement companies offering baby-friendly products. Our friends at Parents and Kids magazine, one of the event sponsors, were there handing out the latest edition and we loved catching up with them again. Be sure to check out the 2009 P+K Rookie Guide, The latest trends in parenting article which features Perfecting Expecting discussing the latest baby shower trends!
The Diaper Lab is a new Perfecting Expecting favorite. Salina and Ryan Frazier began their company after deciding to use cloth diapers for their son and becoming overwhelmed with the vast amount of cloth diapering choices. By researching their tails off, they became local cloth diaper experts. Diaper Lab is a retail store, but they also provide personal consultations and workshops. Have a baby with chubby legs? A skinny Minnie? They have the perfect diaper for you!
We were also thrilled to ‘run’ into StrollerFit ~ one of the best ways to bounce back to your pre-baby figure without having to leave baby behind. It’s the convenience, effectiveness and a great sense of group support that make StrollerFit stand out from the rest. Once you meet local instructors Cindy, Cari-Lynn and Diane, their enthusiasm will suck you in and you’ll be hooked.
We’ll see you again next year, American Baby and Family Expo!

We baby planners have SO much fun talking about what we do, why we do it, and how. Therefore, nothing pleases us more than seeing that other people are talking about it, too. Granted, there is some opposition to the industry, but we aren’t out to convince anyone. We want to help those who could use our help - those who don’t - more power to you!
Anyway, this morning the Boston Globe featured Perfecting Expecting after interviewing us, coming along to a client meeting at Magic Beans, and speaking with a few of our clients about their choice to hire a baby planning service. That’s the beginning of our article down there at the bottom of the front page!

A HUGE thank you goes out to mom-to-be Stacey who was with us at Magic Beans and who is featured in the article’s photos. Stacey is a gorgeous, tall, and fabulously fun redhead who is such a pleasure to work with and was easy-breezy in front of the camera. Thanks, Stacey!
